Small Groups Provide Connections and Community
In a church the size of Nazareth, it can be easy to get lost and disconnected from others. That’s why it’s vital for individuals to belong to at least one group of people with whom they feel connected and accountable.
Small Groups Live the Gospel in Community
Unlike other types of community, Biblical community has the charge of expressing the life and message of Christ to build up one another in our faith and to share Christ's gift of reconciliation of mankind to God with the world.
Small Groups Build Community on Common Interests
At Nazareth, being a church of small groups means we aspire to this calling in a variety of ways. Our small groups are centered around interests (knitting, quilting, handyman projects), age and gender (senior adult women's Bible study, men's prayer breakfast, junior high relationship-building groups), or study area (Old & New Testament overview, biblical worldview). We also offer long-term and short-term groups.
These are just a few examples of the kinds of small groups you'll find at Nazareth. If you don't find a group that fits your interests or meets your needs, we encourage you to start one!
We invite and encourage every member to be part of a smaller group (4-10 persons) somewhere within the church. For more information about how you can find a group to belong to at Nazareth, contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
